NAVE is a design project based in Quito, Ecuador, founded in 2024 by Julian Moscoso. It explores form through weight, tension and clarity treating objects not as decoration, but as architectural gestures. Each piece begins as a study of structure: how a sheet bends, how a plane carries itself, how light reacts to a surface that chooses to show its true condition.
The studio creates furniture, objects and custom-made pieces, working primarily with raw metal supported by materials such as wood, concrete and leather. These elements function as a vocabulary: folded, pressed, joined or left unpolished so their physical truth can remain visible. The result is a collection of pieces that anchor a room, cast precise shadows, and propose a way of inhabiting space through reduction rather than addition.
NAVE’s practice is rooted in making in the cadence of workshops, in the precision of fabrication, in the interplay between force and material. Each object is handcrafted in Ecuador, standing not simply as furniture, but as a quiet piece of architecture scaled to the body.
